Jessica’s love of fitness came later in her life. After the birth of her 3rd child in 3 years, she decided to make a change in her health & fitness so that she could keep up with 3 small children. She met a trainer who gave her the knowledge and the push she needed to make fitness part of her life. She was determined to lose the baby weight and get fit. After a 70lb weight loss, she had a new outlook on fitness & nutrition. That’s when she decided she needed to help others do the same. Jess decided to embark on her journey to gain her personal training certification. What started as a desire to help women lose weight and achieve their goals has become so much more. The fulfillment Jess gets from helping people is so important and it’s why she loves her job!

Jess is a people person. Her calm, nurturing & positive attitude attracts a wide variety of clients to her training style. She has the ability to push people who need encouragement, the ability to listen when clients have a bad day and the ability to ease up when it’s requested. She goes about every training session with respect for her clients in an unintimidating manner. She loves working with all types of clients. Even though weight loss is her passion, she also enjoys working with the senior population looking to increase flexibility, mobility, or to improve strength. She easily adapts to help people reach their goals. Jessica’s caring personality, versatile workouts & realistic expectations are the reasons she retains most of her clients for years on end.

Jessica has 2 very different passions in her training. Aside from the 1 on 1 relationship she builds with her clients, Jess loves to teach group exercise classes. She has taught classes in kettle bell, boot camp, & cardio kickboxing. Whether the class is big or small, the energy is amazing. Her classes are a place you want to be! Class participants have cultivated friendships with each other. The classes have a strong feeling of camaraderie, with some underlying competitiveness, whether you’ve been there a week or a year. The goals of her class are to work hard but have fun doing it!

In her personal life, Jess enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin and 3 children Gabriella, Sophie & Niko. She loves to travel and is a huge Red Sox fan. Her own workouts are a combination of running, spinning, kettle bells and strength training.
